Learning About Their Feathered Friends

Last week the Key Stage 2 children from Shapwick Prep took part in the National Schools Birdwatch Survey.

They enjoyed observing birds at the nearby feeding station from their classroom window. The children spotted blue-tits, great tits, crows, a wren, robin, wood pigeons and some gulls in a nearby field. Their data has been sent to the RSBB and the children are going to do some block graphs from their results and draw some of the birds they observed.
