About Shapwick Prep
Shapwick Prep offers a safe, stimulating and happy learning environment for children aged 6 to 13 years in the heart of the beautiful Somerset levels. Pupils thrive in this close-knit family environment, that facilitates strong inter-personal relationships and an understanding of individual needs.
Pupils study Maths and English every morning with a focus on their essential literacy and numeracy skills. The rest of the day is then split into 35 minute and 1 hour, 10 minute sessions covering:
• Art and Design
• Design Technology
• Geography
• History
• ICT
• Music
• PE/Games
• RE
• Science
Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy run alongside the above throughout the day, both in and out of the classroom.
