Jacky started working as School Assistant in 2002. Throughout the school day this involves a variety of different jobs and responsibilities. The main role is the overseeing of meals in the dining room and playground supervision at break times.
All health concerns are also Jacky’s responsibility, including taking pupils for medical check-ups, dental appointments and dealing with any first aid emergencies. In between all these regular jobs, Jacky also organises the pupils’ PE kits, the weekly house-points and preparing cups and shields for prize giving.
The ability to be organised, kind and extremely patient are all skills needed in this job as well as a good sense of humour!
