Mr and Mrs Lush are Houseparents at Chapel Hill Farm, Burtle. They joined the School in January 2008 and love the way of life that they share with all of the boarders and their own family at Shapwick Prep.
Rob and Hellen were both brought up and educated in Somerset from a young age so are very familiar with the area – their families are still close by.
Rob runs his own Landscaping and Garden Business full time and Hellen is a Secondary Science teacher, currently at home caring for their youngest children and taking care of the admin side of houseparenting. They run the House very much together and enjoy the various duties and activities that the job entails.
Outside of school life the Lush family enjoy the outdoors, camping and exploring lots of different places.
