Ten Tors
For the past five years Shapwick has entered a team in the Ten Tors challenge on Dartmoor.
The Shapwick team train hard in all weathers for many months for the opportunity to walk 45 miles over two days taking in ten check points on the way and carrying everything that they need to stay safe on Dartmoor. Approximately 400 teams take part in the event which means 2,400 teenagers trying to find their way around Dartmoor without adult help.
