GCSE Results
Shapwick School is always very proud of its pupils' results each summer. The results are comparable with many mainstream schools, which is all the more impressive considering the challenges presented by their dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. 69% of pupils gained five or more grades A* to C in 2009.
As a small school all Shapwick staff know and understand individual pupils needs so they can help them to achieve their potential. All pupils receive individual exam support e.g. scribes (or amanuenses) who write pupil’s answers and readers who read the exam questions to pupils
