Wells Field Trip
As part of their local history study, junior pupils recently visited the nearby city of Wells and its famous cathedral. Pupils and staff had great fun following the moat walk and identifying the pictures on their worksheets, everyone was impressed by Vicars' close and surprised that these lovely old houses were still being lived in.
Inside the Cathedral the children made their own 3D model showing how the cathedral had been built, watched the famous clock strike and made a stained glass window. In all this was a lovely day out enjoyed by all and hopefully it will help the children remember some of their history lessons.
