Shapwick School 6th Form Visit Brussels
6th Form Easter Holidays welcomed the first student led residential trip!
Maurice Bartosch admirably led the party to his homeland, Brussels, treating participants to a show around the diverse city highlights, including the wonderful Grand Plas soaking up the evening spotlight atmosphere of awe inspiring historical architecture, the ‘Oxford Street’ shopping delights of Avenue Louise, ‘a climb’ of the magnificent 102m Expo 58 Brupark Atomium, a visit to The European UnionCommission Building with accompanied lunch and political discussion, not to mention a fantastic day in nearby Bruges – taking in the art, architecture, music and horse drawn carriage tour atmosphere of this delightful city.
Thank you, Maurice for such a memorable, fun and laughter filled trip!!
We look forward to the discussed next possible adventures of Italy, Nigeria or Norway to visit further student homelands?! …
