How does Shapwick School benefit from Gifting / Donations?
The school's vision is to deliver an outstanding education and boarding experience, aspiring to provide our students and staff with the very best facilities and environment in which to excel and perform. Donations allow us to keep fees at Shapwick to a minimum to increase opportunities for those needing support. Donations also allow us to accelerate our ability to cover the capital expenditure needed for the larger developmental projects of the school site which are constantly ongoing.
Ways of Giving
The gift of a superb education. The gift of lifelong friendship. The gift of leadership. Your financial support of Shapwick School allows us to give our students the tools they need to become the next generation of Shapwick School success stories. Donations from all members of the Shapwick School Community – Old Shapwickians, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends – are welcomed to support the future needs of Shapwick School via charitable contributions.
In any given year, Annual Giving allows tuition fees to be kept as low as possible and allows capital projects to be embarked upon sooner rather than later.

These scholarships are awarded to individual pupils who we know will benefit greatly from Shapwick’s expertise, but have no access to funding for their tuition fees. Each scholarship is awarded in the name of the donor. For example “The MacGregor Scholarship”. The donor is kept informed of the student’s details and progress. Donors may pledge annual scholarships as follows:
