Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Speech and Language Therapist required for April 2018 to join our existing dynamic Therapy Team consisting of 4 other Speech and Language Therapists and 2 Occupational Therapists

The successful candidate will provide assessment and therapy to pupils, input and training to the school staff teams (academic and pastoral) and give advice to parents at this specialist school for pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties


  • Registered member of RCSLT
  • Registered member of HCPC
  • 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Knowledge and experience of high functioning ASD
  • Knowledge of SpLD
  • Experience of running Social Communication Group

Contract Type:  Initially the post is for four days but there is likely to be potential for this to increase over time.  Term time only, plus inset days (6 per year)

Band 6 post, Point dependent on experience


6th Form Learning Support Assistant

Support is necessary to allow students to succeed academically and also includes personal and social support to enable them to maximise their whole potential at college.  Learning Support Assistants are key individuals who can make a difference to student's life chances.  Therefore, a passion for supporting students in an educational environment is essential

Contract type:   Part time hours depending on the number of student lessons requiring support

Salary:  Hourly rate of £9.75
