Team Building Day
Thursday 10th September saw our students out on the playing field in glorious sunshine with the Army.
The students were grouped into their House teams, Canada, Heathway and Noah. The teams were sorted in vertical age groups so that they could support each other across the age and ability ranges.
There were various logistical and practical problems that need solving and the students worked hard and with enthusiasm to overcome the challenges.
The field was divided into areas in which the students tackled among other things barrels, ropes, hoops, containers.. ...and had to support, balance, run, think, plan, agree, decide, learn, apply....
It was a pleasure to see the students work together and enjoy the opportunity not only to acquire new skills, but to meet a team of experts in their field and talk to them about career choices and life experiences
